BRIMWOOD FARM CSA SHARE - 2025
WHAT IS A CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) put quite simply is a vegetable box scheme. However, rather than paying week by week for the box of locally grown goodies, you pay upfront. This helps the farmer (ME) enormously as I can buy seeds, get the season going and ensure I grow the right food for the boxes. CSA’s are often called shares, as you’re purchasing a ‘share’ in the season’s farming.
My CSA runs for 20 weeks with the the first box produced for June 1st, 2025, and then weekly box until the last box on October 5th, 2025.
OPTION 1 - FULL SHARE. Enjoy fresh produce for the entire 20 weeks! £10 per box, for a total of £200
OPTION 2 - HALF SHARE. Enjoy 10 weeks of seasonal produce from June 1st until August 3rd. £12 per box for a total of £120. At the end of the 10 weeks you can sign up for the entire 20 weeks if you like, only paying the £80 difference to complete a full share.
OPTION 3 - HALF SHARE. Enjoy 10 weeks of season produce from August 10th until October 5th. £12 per box for a total of £120.
If you want to support your local farmers and eat sustainably grown produce, then a CSA can be a great option.
My CSA vegetable box scheme is available in Bramfield, Suffolk, UK - IP19. Only purchase a share if you’re able to pick up from this location; either the farm or a pick-up point in Halesworth Town Centre
BRIMWOOD FARM’S CSA
My CSA is stocked with goodies grown on my farm in Halesworth, Suffolk. I practice regenerative agriculture - a method of improving the health of the soil and the surrounding environment. No chemicals are used and wildlife is welcomed. By caring for the land and growing in a non-invasive way, it means the majority of the farm can be left for nature - and I’m thrilled that we have a vast array of fantastic creatures from otters and bats, to snakes, lizards and turtle doves living here.
Weekly boxes are stocked with SEASONAL veg. This means you’ll receive only what I’m growing on the farm, and this changes week to week. I don’t buy in any substitutes which means you’ll get to enjoy a variety of British grown vegetables. These include but are not limited to; kale, tomatoes, squash, lettuce, spinach, radishes, cucumbers, herbs, beans and more.
Boxes are NOT delivered. They’re packed and stored on the farm and I have a collection day for you to stop and pick up. This means you have the unique opportunity to see the farm, have a chat and be included in the farming community. There will also be a pick-up point in Halesworth Thoroughfare.
Box contents will vary, with eggs and flowers sometimes included as part of the package.
CSA members will get the opportunity to join farm events. For example, instead of pumpkins being included, members may have the opportunity to explore our pick-your-own patch and get their own. Farm tours and talks will also be offered first to members.
LIMITED AVAILABILITY - THERE ARE ONLY LIMITED SHARES ON OUR SCHEME. THEY ARE OFFERED ON A FIRST COME FIRST BASIS AND DUE TO THE CSA MODEL, CANNOT ADD ADDITIONAL SHARES LATER ON.
