Brimwood Farm Woodland
2.3 acres was set aside to create a native woodland next to the wildflower meadow. This would adjoin an existing forest and also act as a wider ‘corridor’ for movement between woodland, hedgerow and grassland.
Started in 2019, see below for site map, sponsorship details, gallery and timeline.
• Sponsorship available for Patreons

TIMELINE
400 native trees are planted, mostly from the Woodland Trust, but many gifted and donated.
COVID-19 hits and lockdown start. Unseasonally dry weather combined with the inability to water means that very sadly, 70% of new trees don’t make it.
To help develop the woodland, new perk offered to Patreons allowing them to sponsor a tree, get updates and sustain the project’s development.
